Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Butler, operated by Rexe Pty Ltd ("we", "us"). By using Butler, you agree to these Terms.

1. Use of the Service

Butler is a personal productivity and AI assistant service. You may use Butler for personal, non-commercial purposes. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.

2. Your Account

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• Notify us immediately at hello@rexe.au if you suspect unauthorised access.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' data
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure
• Use automated tools to scrape or abuse the service
• Submit content that is harmful, abusive, or violates any law

4. AI-Generated Content

Butler uses AI (Claude by Anthropic) to generate responses. AI responses may occasionally be inaccurate or incomplete. You should not rely solely on Butler for critical decisions involving health, legal, financial, or safety matters. We are not responsible for actions taken based on AI-generated advice.

5. Third-Party Integrations

Features such as Google Calendar and Apple Calendar integration are provided via third-party APIs. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for changes to or interruptions of third-party services.

6. Data and Privacy

Our collection and use of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

7. Service Availability

We aim to keep Butler available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time with reasonable notice.

8. Intellectual Property

Butler and its original content (excluding user data) remain the property of Rexe Pty Ltd. You retain ownership of the data and content you create within Butler.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rexe Pty Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Butler, including loss of data or profits.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Queensland.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
